When damage to a tooth from any source is extreme, we restore that tooth to health and beauty with crowns made of porcelain bonded to gold or to a very strong ceramic core. Our crowns look and feel like natural teeth and are as close to “permanent” as dental treatment can get.
How is it done?
Making a crown requires at least two visits to our office.
1st visit – We remove decay, shape the tooth to properly hold the crown, make an impression and then fit and cement a temporary tooth colored crown.
2nd visit – We adjust the crown to perfection and then cement it. You now have a beautiful, natural looking new tooth that will serve you well for many years.
